So, Zakary, yet again got caught in a lie...although I can guarantee that he didn't mean to get himself caught. We have 1 week of school left. It's almost over, yet he failed to mention last night...no, allow me to correct myself...he flat out lied to me & to Charles, telling us he didn't have any homework. Oops, he slipped this morning that he had sentences to write.
After doing pushups & leg lifts, he had to write "I will not lie to my parents" on every line of the front & back of a piece of legal pad. Of course, he felt his life was coming to an end. I caught him calling BJ (my brother), in hopes of getting sympathy, which he didn't get & boy did that create a thorn in his side.
Sooner or later, they say, he will get it. Until then...the frustration continues.
2 posts in one day!! And you are going to make a list?? I heart you :) Zakary will learn sooner or later. My friend Alyssa told me a story yesterday about her little sister who lied over the weekend. Their mom is making the 12 year old an Amish dress and hat and everytime she lies she has to wear it along with giving up the celly, tv, ipod and computer. Too funny.
